The debut album “Anchor” is a statement of who Copperhead Jones is, where he’s been, and where he is going. The album takes you to the rivers of Florida, the plains of Texas, and the oceans of the world. Having grown up in Florida then serving in the US Navy to go through a sea of depression yet come out on the other side to find a safe haven in Texas is the foundation for the album. The album depicts just that in a direct way but also uses metaphors to create imagery to capture the full emotion of this 13-song story. A unique, smooth sounding Texas country singer-songwriter, Copperhead Jones first started writing songs in 2012 while deployed with the United States Navy.
Living in various places throughout his adult life has given him the ability to write songs that cover not only the true feel of the country way of life but also the shine of the city lights atmosphere. Well rounded, deep thinking and heart felt lyrics, along with his own unique sound, not only crafted the foundation for the album but also bridges the gap between any state line boundaries of music.
Copperhead Jones independently released his debut single, No One Givin’ Up in December 2021 followed by his debut 13 song album titled “Anchor” in September 2022.
