JACKSON, GA, July 10, 2019 /24-7PressRelease/ — SteelCo Buildings, Inc. was excited to participate in a groundbreaking ceremony held for Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church on June 21 for its new worship center in Jackson, Georgia. The new location will be located at 304 Four Points Road, three miles from its current location.
Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and SteelCo Buildings are working together to construct a worship center with a sanctuary that will seat 200 congregants. The new building will also include a lobby, restrooms and will serve as a multi-use facility.
“Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church is rich with history and has a story of overcoming adversity. We are honored to be chosen as the contractor for their new worship center,” SteelCo Buildings CEO Jay Bailey said.
In 2005, the church purchased a 10-acre parcel on Four Point Road to expand their current worship center. In March of 2019, general contractor SteelCo Buildings began grading the site and the project is expected to be completed in October 2019.
