The pop star reported Tuesday night on “American Idol” that she is going to Las Vegas one year from now for a residency at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino.

Jennifer Lopez’s stint at the AXIS Theater will start Jan. 20, 2016. The initial 20 performances go at a bargain Saturday. She has live shows set for January, February, May and June.
Tickets costs range from $58 to $220
Lopez, 45, follows in the strides of contemporary pop stars like Mariah Carey, 45, and Britney Spears, 33, who also launched Vegas residencies.
Lopez once overwhelmed the pop and R&B charts with consecutive singles, yet has battled musically in the most recent decade. Her star power, however, has gotten a support because of “Idol.”
